A fantastic way to experience a 700 acre working deer, sheep and cattle farm on scenic treks with wonderful views of the mountains and along Fiordland's Upukerora River. Experience the different landscapes that form our beautiful farmland with your choice of Riding with The River or Up Hill and Down Dale.

Riding with the River

The ultimate trek through a huge variety of landscapes; everything from pasture to manuka, farmland to swamp.  Then it's down the Upukerora River with multiple river crossings beside banks of native forest. Enjoy a break as we stop among the river willows for some home-baked goodies.  Suitable for all levels of ability; moderate level of fitness required.

Times

Winter hours are as follows - one trip a day departing at 3pm, may be able to arrange a morning ride if weather allows and enough notice is given, allow 3.5 hours including transfers for trip  Summer trips - 9am,4pm

Includes helmet and a free shuttle service if required. Light refreshments are included, gloves and waterproof jackets are available if needed.

Up Hill and Down Dale

Experience firsthand the stillness and tranquility of Fiordland from horseback. Enjoy fantastic mountain views as you cruise over the varied terrain of this working farm and down on the banks of the scenic Upukerora River. Suitable for all levels of ability.

Please contact us if you wish to do this ride over winter and we will try to arrange it for you, allow 2.5 hours including transfers for this trip. Summer trips - 1pm
